Professional Experience
• 1996-present Preparation and presentation of exploration block in UK 25th Round bidding, for Eboroil. Client representative and acquisition supervisor for onshore 4D survey over producing fields in Middle East. Quality supervisor for 2D survey in World Heritage Site area in Middle East. Processing quality control supervisor of multi-client marine 3D surveys in South East Asia, with special emphasis on effectiveness of migration fields. Acquisition quality supervision of 2D surveys in Atlantic margin, North Sea and Arctic areas. Geophysical advisor, onshore China. Reconnaissance of acreage for suitability and costing of operations. Oil seep and sample collection. Preparation of exploration packages of seismic and technical data for Russian autonomous areas.
• 1976-1996 Individual and team projects involving seismic interpretation in a world wide variety of frontier and mature basins and tectonic regimes. Projects ranged from regional basin studies to block evaluation, prospect generation and 3D development geophysics and interpretation. Programme design, bid tendering and selection, parameter testing and acquisition quality control of marine and onshore seismic surveys. Experience in a wide variety of terrains, including cultivated and urban areas. Familiarity with all widely used acquisition techniques, utilising different sources, recording instrumentation, and positioning systems.
